Launched in 1917 by Converse as the All Star basketball shoe, the famous canvas sneakers didn't become what they are today until a few years later. Basketball player and Converse employee Chuck Taylor began intensively promoting the shoes in the early 1920s, which then received their famous round patch in 1923: the Converse All Star Chuck Taylor was born.

Since the 50s, Chuck Taylor All Stars have always found their way into every possible subculture, representing individuality and rebellion like no other sneaker. Today, "Chucks" have long since achieved cult status and are an established fixture within mainstream fashion. Meanwhile, the colour palette has been expanded to suit every taste and occasion.
