Here’s how it works:

Step 1 (Preparation):

• Remove your standard laces
• Take your Rope Lace set and take out the laces
• You only need one Round Lace and one Rope Lace per side

Step 2 (Round Laces):

• Thread the Rope Laces from the outside through the two bottom holes
• (Make sure both sides are the same length.)
• Then thread them from inside to outside into the second hole.
• Then again from outside to inside into the first hole.
• (It’s important that a loop forms here.)
• The size of the loop should match the width of the Rope Laces.
• Now thread through the third hole from inside to outside and back into the second hole.
• Then the fourth hole from inside to outside and back into the third.
• Continue like this all the way up.
• Put the end inside the sneaker.
• Do the same on the other side.

Step 3 (Rope Laces):

• Thread both ends from outside to inside through the bottom loop.
• (Again, make sure both ends are the same length.)
• Start on the right side and go to the left loop.
• Now thread the lace on the left side from outside to inside.
• Take the left lace and go into the right loop.
• (Work carefully and keep the lengths even.)
• Take the right side again and go to the left loop.
• Then the left side into the right loop.
• Continue like this all the way up.
• At the end, go straight through the loop and let the laces hang outside.

Step 4 (Fitting):

• Adjust the loops and lengths one more time.
• Tie the Round Laces behind the tongue and tuck them inside.
• And voilà, your perfect Rope Lace sneaker is ready!
