The Nike Shox tech combines sturdy, flexible columns with cushioning plates for excellent shock absorption that springs back after compression. The design closely replicates the original 2003 Nike Shox TL. Pre-shaped overlays in the midfoot provide support and a snug fit. A TPU heel plate offers stable lateral support. Continuous laser perforations improve ventilation. The TPU plate between the midsole and Nike Shox cushioning maximizes side stability and support. The full-length Phylon midsole delivers lightweight cushioning. The non-marking full rubber outsole with a modern waffle pattern ensures good traction and durability. The Nike Shox element is a midsole cushioning system combining elastic, flexible columns with cushioning plates for outstanding shock absorption. The sturdy foam columns keep their shape throughout the shoe’s life.
