The Nike Shox tech combines sturdy, flexible columns with moderator plates for outstanding cushioning that bounces back after compression. The design is almost an exact replica of the 2003 Nike Shox TL. Pre-shaped overlays in the midfoot ensure support and a snug fit. A TPU heel plate offers stable lateral support. Continuous laser perforations improve ventilation. The TPU plate between the midsole and Nike Shox cushioning maximizes side stability and support. The full-length Phylon midsole provides lightweight cushioning. The non-marking rubber outsole with a modern waffle pattern delivers great traction and durability. The Nike Shox element is a midsole cushioning system combining flexible columns with damping plates for excellent shock absorption. The durable foam columns keep their shape over the shoe’s lifetime.
